Turns out that this rifle was exported in 1993 but they were not able to determine the exact model based on the serial number or CAT number from the rifle. They said it could be.

I was going to install it the next day and while compressing it, with a spring compressor, it, too, broke. Snapped in the curve of of where spring is folded upon itself. Decided to order another and it, too, was promptly delivered. The nearest real gunsmith is 100 miles away but I decided to take it there and hav them install it. It's been there a week and I haven't heard anything yet so not sure if the replacement broke or not.

Hope not but possibly it's just a couple of bad springs and the next one is good. Taylors is a good company itch excellent customer service so I expect if this one breaks they will take appropriate action to remedy the problem (Posted on ) Review by Mike Price.
